Public Involvement

The Navy is committed to remaining engaged with the community throughout all phases of the project. The Navy will use a variety of communication methods to ensure the public is kept aware of progress on the project and opportunities to be involved.     NAVWAR Revitalization Industry Day

    In support of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Southwest's industry Request for Interest, the Navy hosted over 200 people from 80 different companies for a support for the Navy and for NAVWAR’s Industry Day presentation. Congresswoman Susan Davis and Congressman Scott Peters kicked off the event with comments on their support for the Navy and the NAVWAR revitalization project. The City of San Diego presented an overview of the recently approved Midway-Pacific Highway Community Plan. The Navy presented detailed information on the OTC sites, Navy requirements and information sought.
